Run with the Team
Team members will be on site and participating in the race. Some will be volunteers, however others will be providing pacing services. Come out and run with them and be sure to introduce yourself to the athletes and coaching staff.
Long Beach State Cross Country
Under the leadership of Coach Patrick Cunniff the Long Beach State Men's and Women's Cross Country teams have been enjoying rapid growth and improvement. They are focused on competitive performances at both the conference and NCAA regional levels, and they look forward to an exciting season in 2010.

Long Beach State Track and Field
The last 4 seasons have represented a resurgence for the 49er Track and Field program. The team has claimed Big West titles in both 2006and 2008, and has qualified numerous athletes for both the NCAA Regional and National Championship meets. Steady improvement in middle and long distance events has accompanied the consistent performance of their sprinters, jumpers and throwers. The program expects big things from the 2010-2011 season, which opens up with a number of indoor meets on the highly competitive west coast circuit.
