As entry numbers are rising for the November 8 Pyramid 5K Run/Walk, we are pleased to announce that CSULB President F. King Alexander has agreed to compete in the race.
We look forward to his participation and invite all of you to come early to the race to participate in a meet and greet with him.

Pyramid Run Leadership Committee signs deal to bring the full service timing company, Race Central, to provide ChronoTrack (tm) technology for the Pyramid 5K Run/Walk and Kid's Run on Sunday, November 8, 2009. Runners will have immediate access to their mile splits and race times after the race. "The benefit of using the new d-tag (disposable tag) technology is there will be no need to return chips; participants finish the race and are free to return to their day, worry free," Wayne Stickney, race director. 2009 Pyramid 5K Run/Walk and Kid's Run (1 mile) to use state-of-the-art Chronotrack timing system and will provide 1 mi, 2 mi, and 3 mi splits during the 5K.
