Pacing Services
Long Beach State athletes will serve as "pacers" that will run with you at a specified pace. You may select between 6:00, 6:27, 7:00, 8:00, and 9:00 minute per mile pace. These correspond to 18:36, 20:00, 21:42, 24:48, and 27:54 5K times, respectively. The pacers will be located near the start area. They will be wearing gold shirts clearly marked with their target pace time. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the CSULB athletes and to challenge yourself during the race.
